City Code Finder: Look Up IATA City Codes and Airports

IATA city codes group one or more airports (NYC covers JFK, EWR and LGA). Search a city or code to see the airports stored in this dataset. Codes not in the dataset are shown as unavailable. They are not invented.

Overview

IATA city codes group one or more airports (NYC covers JFK, EWR and LGA). Search a city or code to see the airports stored in this dataset. Codes not in the dataset are shown as unavailable. They are not invented. City Code Finder is a working travel-agent tool on Pnrly, not a text-only landing page. You paste GDS or booking text (or upload a file where the tool supports it), run the action above, and get output you can copy, download, or print. Supported cryptic families on this product include Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport Smartpoint, Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan, and generic flight lines. This page's format hint is Auto-Detect. The parser only reads what you paste. It does not open a live airline or GDS session, and it does not invent schedules, fares, terminals, or baggage allowances that are missing from the source text. After a successful parse you can usually continue into Print/PDF, WhatsApp text, email copy, calendar ICS, validation, or redaction from the related tools. Guest convert limits still apply whenever the parse API runs.

How to use this page

  1. Type a city name or code.
  2. Open the matching city page for airports and timezone context.
  3. Review every name, date, and airport before you send the result.
  4. Use related tools (redactor, validator, WhatsApp, PDF) instead of forwarding raw GDS.

Example

Example: type NYC. The dataset groups JFK, EWR and LGA under the city code. Type DEL and you get Delhi with the stored airport list. Unknown codes are not invented.

FAQs

Why is NYC not JFK?

NYC is the city. JFK, EWR and LGA are airports in that city.

What is City Code Finder?

City Code Finder is a free-to-try Pnrly tool that search IATA city codes such as NYC, LON or DEL and see related airports stored in this dataset. Unknown codes are marked unavailable, never invented. It sits on the same parser as the main converter.

How do I use City Code Finder?

Type a city name or code. Open the matching city page for airports and timezone context.

Which GDS formats are supported?

Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport Smartpoint, Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan, and generic flight lines. Use Auto-Detect unless this page locks a format hint.

Does this connect to Amadeus, Sabre, or an airline PSS?

No. Nothing is retrieved from a live host. Only the text or file you provide is parsed.

Is the output safe to send to a customer?

Only after you review names, dates, and airports. Use the PNR Redactor if the paste still contains tickets, cards, or phone numbers.

Why were no flights found?

The paste may be a locator only, a screenshot with unread OCR, a scanned PDF without text, or a line split across two rows. Paste full segment lines and convert again.

Are times local or UTC?

GDS segment times are local to each airport as printed. This product does not convert them to the agent's timezone unless a specific timezone tool says so.

Do I need an account?

Guests can convert up to the published IP limit. After that, create a free account. Paid plans unlock higher API volume, not extra invented facts.

How is City Code Finder different from the main converter?

Same engine. This URL exists so search and agents can open a dedicated intent page with the matching output (PDF, WhatsApp, ICS, and so on) above the fold.

Can I use the result as legal proof of a ticket?

No. This is a formatting aid. Ticketed status lives in the airline/GDS. Missing fields in the paste stay missing.
